Rotary is dedicated to seven areas of focus to build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever.
Welcome to the Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama

Becoming a Rotarian connects you with a diverse group who share your drive to give back. We are always looking for new members so why not inquire today.
Wayne Hosier

I am honoured to accept the role of President from my predecessor, Heather Andrew. I congratulate her on a great job of steering the club for the past 15 months. Heather took over from our Charter President, Michael Mellare, who lead us for 21 months. Between them they laid a solid foundation for the club to build upon. I look forward to continuing their great work with emphasis on our existing projects such as The Santa Run, supporting our interest club, RYDA, RYPEN and the establishment of a local PCYC.
We chartered with a clear focus on the PCYC project and have never lost sight of the need for this. It has been said that the youth of any community are the future and we are the custodians of that future. With this area being one of the fastest growing youth communities in Australia, it is incumbent upon us all to do all we can to ensure our youth have the best opportunities to develop as strong community members. To this end, our club will lead the charge with the continued support of our State Member Michael Crandon MP, who took up this challenge over 9 years ago.
The coming year will no doubt see us take on other projects as well, all of which will be done with the same passion we have undertaken everything thus far. The secret of success is that many hands make light work, so we call on all like minded community members to come along to a business meeting and see how you can add your passion to ours and make a difference in the Ormeau Pimpama community.
Another year and another wonderful Santa Run celebrating Christmas as a community.
The Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama celebrated it's 3rd Changeover dinner on 9th July 2022 at Harrigan's Calypso Bay with a Christmas in July theme.
In May 2022, the Rotary Club of Ormeau-Pimpama initiated the inaugural Community Support Grants to provide funding to support our community organisations to deliver projects which provide benefits to the local community.
